Lord of The Rings Vs. Star Wars

Hello everybody So today I’m going to be talking about…

star-wars-vs-the-lord-of-the-rings-movie-feuds

Both of these series are AWESOME and I’ve seen all of them. I just love the stories and the action, I mean overall the movies are just great! All right, let’s begin:

#1 Star Wars Battles VS. Lord of the Rings Battles

We are going to watch these battles:

(WARNING: this battle may be intense for younger viewers)

and the star wars battle

So which one was the most intense or action-packed? Well, if you watched the whole thing the LOTR battle is more intense, but there both pretty close.

#2 Which one would you rather watch?

Hmm…. which one would I rather watch…well I would watch Rouge One over Fellowship of the Ring, but I would rather watch The Two Towers over The Force Awakens, and Return of the King over Empire Strikes Back. Yes, I know there are more Star Wars movies, but there are only three LOTR movies, so I had to choose three of my favorite Star Wars movies.

Here’s why I would choose The Two Towers over The Force Awakens and Return of The King over Empire Strikes Back: The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite Star Wars movie and Return of the King is my favorite Lord of the Rings movie.

#3 Favorite Character

My favorite character in star wars is:

han-solo

HAN SOLO!!!!!

(BUT HE DIED!!!!!!!!)

darth-vader-no-gif

And my favorite character in lord of the rings is:

hobbit-smaug-poster-legolas-header

Legolas

This guy is awesome and completely

boss

Legolas is boss with a bow ‘n’ arrow. I mean, he took out dozens and dozens of orcs!

Who is your favorite character?

#4 The Stories

I’m not talking about the books when I say ‘the stories’. I’m talking about the stories in the movies. I know, I know, the stories in the movies and the stories in the books are quite similar, but they are a bit different, too. Here’s an example:

Lord of the Rings is basically Good vs. Evil – ya know, they need to destroy the ring and stuff. Star Wars is Good vs. Evil, too, but in a more…futuristic way. LOTR is set way, waaayyyy back then, and Star Wars is, like, 70 years into the future.

Soo….how am I supposed to figure out which movie (or book) series would win? It wouldn’t make much sense because of the time difference, but, if someone from LOTR and someone from Star Wars went to battle against each other LOTR would probably:

So, who is the WINNER??

*one hour later*

Hmm… *two hours later*

Ummmmm… *three hours later*

I’ve got it!! *light-bulb*

Eh, no… *four hours later*

All right, all right. So…this is really hard.

Okay, the winner is…….

LORD OF THE RINGS!!!!!

Realy, guys, this all came down to how fun it is to watch it. I mean, Star Wars is really fun, but I think LOTR is just really cool to watch.

  1. Star Wars– one thing about this whole business that confuses me and always has– it’s in the future– or so it seems– yet it happened… a long. time ago.

Ahhh Han Solo. So cool. So dead. ;( 😦

    LEGOLASSSSSSS

And if you counted the hobbit as part of LOTR there’d be almost an equal amount of movies… But the hobbit isn’t as good.

  3. Why pick when you can have both? 😛 Yes, yes, I know that was the point of the whole post but still. They’re both such amazing worlds – full of excitement, great characters, and wonderful stories. Two of my absolute favourites and something I can gladly thank my parents for introducing to my life at a young age.
